You might be wondering what cut off mark means well it’s important to note that this is a mark that one must meet if they want to be eligible to register or participate in the 2023/2024 PostUtme/DE Screening exercise. There are two cut off mark that would be announced the first being the Jamb cut off mark and which is to be adopted by all tertiary institutions in the country while the departmental own is announced by the institution and must be adopted by all departments in the institution.

The cut off mark for the Abia State University[ABSU] 2023/2024 admission screening exercise is 140 which also happens to be the Jamb cut off mark. This implies for anyone to be eligible to take part in the screening exercise, they must score at least 140 in their Jamb examination.

The higher your score, the higher your chances of being admitted especially for those who selected competitive courses like Medicine and Computer Science. Competitive departments may sometimes have a higher cut off mark than the one set by the institution and most times, it is only known by the institution and not the general public.
