Jahmai started his career as a Sports Intern with KCBS in December 2007. In August 2008, he moved to KXXV News Channel, where he was given the Sports Anchor/Reporter role. He joined KRHD News Bryan/College Station in August 2008 as a Sports Reporter, but after two years, he assumed the position of Sports Anchor at KITV4 Island News.
In September 2014, he joined Denver7 – The Denver Channel (KMGH-TV) full-time as an Evening Sports Anchor/Reporter before joining NESN, where he works to date.
