Are you a young American looking for scholarship opportunities in the United Kingdom? Marshall Scholarship is a program designed to finance young Americans who can study for a degree in the United Kingdom.
The scholarship aims to enable distinguished United States citizens to study in the UK, and 50 people will be awarded it. Through the scholarship, contributions to the advancement of knowledge in science, technology, the humanities and social sciences, and the creative arts will be made.
The Marshall Scholarship program is categorized into the One-year and Two-year scholarship programs. The One-year scholarship program is a twelve months Master scholarship program while the two-year scholarship program is categorized into the following:
- Two one year Master degree programs at the same or different Universities or one two year Master’s degree program
- Two-year scholarship program with a third-year extension
Eligibility For The Marshall 2024 Scholarship Program
To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Must be a citizen of the United States of America
- Hold a first degree from an accredited four-year college or university in the United States with a minimum GPA of 3.7
- Must have graduated from their undergraduate college or university after April 2021.
- The scholarship does not fund the following degrees in the image below
Marshall Scholarship 2024 Application Guidelines
To apply for the scholarship, visit the Marshall Scholarship application portal marshallscholarship.org/apply. Go through the instructions for the One-year and two-year programs. The scholarship will cover the following:
- University fees
- Cost of living expenses
- Annual book grant
- Thesis grant
- Research and daily travel grants
- Fares to and from the United States
- Contribution towards the support of a dependent spouse where necessary
