The International Experience Canada (IEC) is a program created by the Canadian government that grants youths the opportunity to travel and work in Canada for up to 2 years. This program has three types of work/travel experience available for citizens of a partner country.
Who Can Apply For The International Experience Canada Program?
- People from countries with a Youth Mobility Agreement with Canada: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Chile, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czechia, New Zealand, Slovenia, Andorra, Germany, Hong Kong, Greece, Japan, Portugal, Taiwan, United Kingdom, etc.
- People age 18-35
If you’re from a non-partner country, you can apply for the IEC program using specific IEC-recognized organizations (RO). Although cases like these are rare, it is still worth a shot.
It is important to note that the amount of times a person can apply depends on their country of citizenship
How Much Is The Processing Fee & Time?
174 Canadian dollars(CAD) is paid as processing fees, but additional costs might apply. Processing time takes about six weeks.
