The USA diversity visa is an annual program for immigration into the United States. It that allows citizens from various countries around the globe to seek residence in the country. Over 50,000 people are granted access to the States annually and you might just be among them.
How To Check Eligibility Status
If you check any of the requirements below, then you are eligible to apply for the E-DV 2024/2025 program.
- Be a native of a country with low immigration rates to the USA
- Have at least a high school education or its equivalent. Work experience of over two years is also accepted.
How To Apply For The U.S.A Diversity Visa Lottery
Applications can be made on the Electronic Diversity Visa (E-DV) website during the specified registration period, late entries will not be accepted. Only one entry is allowed per person, multiple entries by the same person will be flagged and the person disqualified.
After submission of the application, the applicant will be shown a confirmation screen that displays their name and unique confirmation number. It is advisable to print the confirmation page as the confirmation number will be used to check one’s application status.
No fees are required to complete the application process.
How To Check Your Application Status
If you already applied for the E-DV 2024 visa, you can check your application status on May 4th, 2024 at dvprogram.state.gov to see if you’re among the selected applicants.
If you are among the accepted DV-2024 applicants, you are expected to obtain your visa before September 2024.
