Step-by-Step Procedures To Apply For The WAEC Recruitment Exercise

Note that before applying, you must have created an account on the application portal recruitment.waec.com.ng. To create an account, visit the portal via the link, click on the Register menu, and input your details. After inputting your details, verify your account via the link sent to your email address alternatively, you can click on the Verify Account Menu on the portal to do that. Follow the procedures below to apply:

Click on the Login menu
Input your details and click on the Sign in button
Fill out the application form and select the position you’re interested in applying for

Requirements Applicants Must Possess To Be Eligible For WAEC Recruitment Exercise

Below are some of the requirements that we expect applicants to possess to be eligible for the future recruitment exercise:

A passport photograph of 7kb to 30kb and dimensions 275 x 314 pixels
A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline
Olevel result with five (5) credits in SSCE/WASSCE including English Language and Mathematics at a sitting or six (6) credits at not more than two (2) sittings including English Language and Mathematics
A means of identification.
Must be able to use Personal Computers, MS Office software package and have knowledge of web-based systems

WAEC Recruitment Shortlisted Candidates

Once the deadline for the recruitment exercise elapses, the names of those eligible to participate in the screening would be released online. A screening schedule would be released before then and it would provide information on the date, venue, and location for each shortlisted candidate.

The only place where the application can be done is the official recruitment application portal[recruitment.waec.com.ng] and it would be activated only when the form has been released to the general public. For now, some functions have been disabled on the application portal and would only be enabled once the form has been released by the management of the West African Examination Council[WAEC].
